AMPS is all about armor modeling and the preservation of armor and mechanized heritage.

AMPS shows are very labour intensive. Registration, raffle table, setup, takedown, and judging all need people to help out. The AMPS judging system, in particular, requires many people to pitch in so that we can get through the 600 or so models we expect to receive over the course of the 2-1/2 day show.

Anyone, whether you've had none, a little or a lot of AMPS experience, is welcomed to volunteer to help out. You can judge a single shift, or volunteer your time for more shifts. If you volunteer for at least four hours (i.e. two 2-hour shifts), you'll will recieve one of the coveted AMPS show t-shirts!

You need to log into the website in order to volunteer for the show. You don't need to be an AMPS member to have a login account on the website (although there are benefits to being an AMPS member). To create a free AMPS website account, click here. If you already have a username and password for the website, click on the "Sign In" link in the menu bar above. If you can't remember your username or password, click on the "Sign In" link and then select either the username or password reminder option.

If you have any questions about volunteering at the show, use the contact form to send a message to David Vickers, Chief Judge.
